Since 2005, The Grownup Noise has been celebrated for its playful and poignant brand of indie pop. Tasteful use of dynamics, varying instruments, and unusual covers, are just part of the Grownup Noise's ever-evolving live production. All this, under the blanket of creative grooves and catchy melodies.

After numerous sold-out shows at various Boston landmarks including the Middle East and TT the Bears, the band has sparked a buzz and a loyal growing fan-base, which has extended well beyond Boston. The band already has five national tours under their belt, including shows at Boston's- The Paradise, Philly's- World Café Live, Nashville's- The Basement, L.A.'s- Spaceland, and throughout the US. They have opened/ performed with a diverse roster of artists including Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls, Comedian Patton Oswalt, Rock Plaza Central, Other Lives, and Odawas.

This year also saw their music being used for the season climax of MTV's The Real World. The future holds a lot for these boys and girl as they have started work on their second full-length album.

So what does it all sound like?... From the Beatles vision of song structure to the Velvet Underground's blind intensity. With a true love for song, The Grownup Noise delivers melody and lyrics while combining melodic bass lines with dangerous, yet merciful drum arrangements. And though musicianship is abundant, it never strays into the vein, but remains poignant to the song. Poetic, down to earth lyrics complete this original sound. The result: pop music, hold the cheese.

Cory is a singer/songwriter from Boston, MA. One statement you'll hear him say often is, "I like good music. I like live music. And, I like to make music happen!" Cory met the current band members at Berklee College of Music, where he is a full time Songwriting/Film Scoring double major. Danny Berglund (drums) graduated Berklee in '05 and has played for many prominent groups on the New Engalnd area. Joe Birmingham (bass), freshly graduated as a Performance Major, heads up the Joe Birmingham Experiment when not rehearsing with Cory Allen Staats. Kevin Dempsey (guitar) is 2nd semester student, but he is already making a name for himself in the studio and on stage.

The band mixes originals with feel good covers from pop, jam bands, and all over the musical map. The magic is the mixture of light-hearted fun and honest music. This group plays the only way they know how, from the soul.

Kieran has written hundreds of songs. Songs about lovers and strangers, losers and winners, drifters and wanderers, outcasts and outsiders. Songs of good times, hard times, the road, and romance, sung and played with faith, love, passion, intensity and desperation. Whether as a solo, acoustic performer, leading a stripped down acoustic trio, or as lead singer of The Kieran Ridge Band, Kieran Ridge’s songs stand out as something truly authentic. The Kieran Ridge Acoustic Band is a back to basics roots music band - mixing together the best elements of Blues, Classic Country, Bluegrass and Rock & Roll into their own unique style.

The Kieran Ridge Acoustic Band features Kieran on lead vocals, guitar, and harmonica. Carlos Gonzalez on mandolin, vocals, and sometimes guitar. And Parker Richey on Dobro and vocals. The Kieran Ridge Band has been played on radio shows across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Recently several tracks have been featured on Freight Train Boogie, as well as receiving regular play on Boston’s WUMB.

The Alpacas are, simply put, one of the funnest Rock bands you will ever see live.  Their performances are filled with joy and the kind of music that moves your soul. The Alpacas are a four piece rock band from Boston, MA. With the searing guitars and vocals of the legendary Elroy Alpaca, to the twangy sweet tones of Jackie Alpaca, they mix covers and original songs that get the crowd excited and keeps them there. Add in the backbone beats and percussive fury of Jeremy Alpaca, to the thumping rhythms and warm lows of Petey Alpaca's bass and you get a rock band that aims to please and never misses.

A collaboration of different styles and ideals, all with the common goal of making people feel the music is what they are all about. With a sound blending the, in-your-face reggae of Sublime, the raw power of Pearl Jam, and the relaxed groove of Jack Johnson, these guys are out to show New England and the rest of the world how to get down!

Tori Pyne is the bastard brainchild of acclaimed Boston Musician/Engineer/Producer Dave Westner (vocals/bass).  Joining him is Ed Arnold (drums/vocals), Greg Burgess (guitar/vocals), Justin Casinghino (keys/vocals), and Bryan Killough (guitar/vocals).  Together, these five musicians, with their varied backgrounds and influences, perform smashing tunes that are catchy, fluid and nicely unhinged.

Tori Pyne is the sound of master class players distilling what they know and boldly delivering it to a new place. Progressive, in the best sense of the word.

Dr. JC & the Backwater Blues Band is an exciting, high energy quintet which offers the best of traditional and contemporary Blues, Soul, and R&B. The group is made up of five musicians who not only understand how to play the blues, but they also know how work a room. Between the five seasoned pros, they have recorded and performed throughout the US and beyond in a variety of genres, with a variety of artists.

Mikey P is a Boston-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose energetic and thoughtful songs span many styles from straight-up rock to soulful folk.
